“ One of my sales reps recommended Boedo to me. I was pleasantly surprised with the reasonable pricing and food quality. So we had dinner there one night. Had the Bife Vacio and it was very good. Cooked to al punto (similar to medium in the US) - which was perfect. Caprese salad as a side, which was also very good. I had steak left, so a visit to City Market for some mangos, oranges and cheese provided me a great breakfast for the next morning in my room. I repeated this the next night and morning (beat paying 25 to Riu for breakfast, although it is pretty good itself). The third night I tried the grilled chicken as I was "Steaked" out (I did take out). they cut the breast in half and when I got to my room and saw that, I was concerned it would be dry and tough. Nope. It was tender and juicy to my great pleasure. The grey haired gentleman with glasses helped me all three times. Very helpful and kind. Oh, yes, their Flan is very good and made better as they put some crunchy topping type crumbles around the side of the plate with some slivered almonds and a little drizzling of chocolate sauce. Really good. If you are a gluten free person, then look right across the street from the restaurant and you will see Flor de Coco. Cross the street and you will find some very tasty chocolate pastries that are sucrose free (coconut sugar) and gluten free. ”

“ My husband and I just wanted to stay near the hotel for date night, so we went to Boedo to try something new. This spot did not disappoint. The service was nice and professional, and they provided help when we had questions. I was bummed because the stuff I wanted to try was sold out, so it’s best to go early, we went around 6pm. But my husband got the salmon, it was sweet and tangy, not quite like a teriyaki style, but extremely flavorful with a bed of veggies. I ordered the Choripan, it’s a Sandwhich with chorizo and it was quite good. I used the complimentary cilantro dressing, salsa and the chimichurri sauce for the sandwhich as well. Prior to the main meals, we were provided complimentary bread, which was like a deliciously thick, herb butter garlic mix type of toast. This was amazing bread. My husband ordered the americano, it was small, almost like 2 or 3 shots of espresso, but it was rich and creamy. I would definitely order it when we come back. Oh, and I’m a sucker for dessert. We got the tiramisu, which was moist and decadent. Loved it. ”

“ I decided to take a short walk from the Hotel Riu Guadalajara to the restaurant and am glad I did. I am not much of a steak person; however, I knew I could not eat a pizza by myself so I ordered the New York strip which came with mashed potatoes and a salad. The steak was excellent with a light buttery flavor and the mashed potatoes and salad were good too. I liked the little roll and the sauces that came with it. The spicy sauce was excellent. It had a nice atmosphere and the owner checked on me several times during my meal. After the meal I had an interesting discussion with the owner about his grandfather who was an outstanding soccer player back in the day. I recommend this restaurant and would like to test the pizza someday. ”
